Colorado Tourism Office

While there have been several incarnations of Colorado.com, the creation of the new Colorado Tourism Office and a new direction for Colorado tourism sparked the need for a new site. Visionary Consulting was hired as a completely outsourced web development solution.

• We developed a strategic plan for how Colorado should be represented on the web
• We managed the entire project including interfacing with the state vacation guide fulfillment company, the advertising sales team, and the CTO committees and board.
• We designed the site and the graphical interface based upon how travelers and site visitors want to experience Colorado.
• We created and collected all of the content on the site including business listings, articles, itineraries, events, and photography
• We built the entire web application using Windows NT, Microsoft Site Server Commerce Edition, Microsoft SQL server and active server pages
• And we continue to maintain the site by responding to inquiries, developing new functionality, and adding new content on a daily basis.
